Why We Want to Give Back

Our founders stumbled into the world of replacement lenses all thanks to a few firefighters. It all began with a small, meaningful request from one of our CEO’s firefighter friends. This friend asked him to help them out by cutting replacement lenses for their sunglasses. Firefighting is no small task, and being out in the sun while battling intense conditions means their gear, including sunglasses, takes a beating. They needed durable, high quality lenses to keep their eyes protected while on the job. That simple act of helping a friend turned into an entire fire station digging through drawers of old glasses that could use some new lenses, thus forming the foundation for Fuse Lenses. We started with the idea of offering affordable, quality replacement lenses for people who needed them, whether they were first responders, outdoor enthusiasts, or just folks who were tired of constantly replacing broken lenses. From our early beginnings, the spirit of giving back has always been a core part of who we are. It’s why we’re so passionate about supporting first responders, especially firefighters, who continue to inspire us with their dedication, courage, and sacrifice. This connection to the firefighting community has shaped the way we do business, and it’s why we’re always looking for ways to contribute to the people who give so much.
