What Are Color Enhancing Lenses?
By now, you've probably heard about Color Enhancing lenses. But what are they really. and why should you get a pair?
If you give us the chance, I’m sure anyone at Fuse could talk your ear off about why wearing sunglasses is a good idea. But, since you probably don’t want to hear all that, we’ve compiled a list of the top 5 reasons why you should wear sunglasses!
Sunglasses are obviously a fashion accessory. Ever since their introduction into the mass market, sunglasses have been following and setting trends in fashion. Whether your sunglasses are simple, a bold lens, a funky shape, or even a futuristic shield - you are making a fashion statement with your shades. Fashionable people even match their sunglasses’ vibe to their entire outfit! If you’re the type that only has a few sunglasses shapes they really look good in (like a lot of us at Fuse), you can always adapt and overcome by changing your lenses to match your outfit. Changing your sunglasses is so last season.
It's Monday morning and you knew you shouldn't have done it, but you did. Sometimes it's too easy to throw back a few too many hard seltzers (those things are like water anyways). Alas, you're at work now and there's nothing you can do. Or so you think. But, next time, grab a pair of dark sunglasses and wear them like nobody's business. Because it is nobody's business. Bonus, grab a mirrored pair of sunglasses for extra eye-blocking abilities so no one can see your pain. It's just like they always say: what they can't see, they won't know. Or something like that.
Just like blocking your eyes to conceal some bad decision, you can also grab mirrored sunnies for any reason that you might need your eyes blocked out. One situation where it’s helpful to wear mirrors is for avoiding conversation with your neighbor, Tim. Tim means well, he really does, but he always catches you at the wrong time. Wear some mirrored sunglasses and he won’t know if you actually did see him or you never looked directly at him. Also helpful in any situation where eye contact might initiate a conversation you don’t want to take part in. Maybe it’s the random person in front of you in line at the grocery store or that high school classmate that you just happened to bump into - the possibilities are endless. If you do happen to still get stuck in a conversation, the benefits of mirrors don’t end there. Without seeing your eyes, they’ll be asking themselves, “Are they asleep or just intently listening?” They'll never know.
Sunglasses have always had an affiliation with the glitz and glam of celebrity life, and thus have an inherent “cool” factor. You look cooler and even more attractive donning a pair of sunglasses. Plus, here at Fuse, we have found that looking cool is all about being different from the norm. So, I’ll offer you this one suggestion. No one else will be wearing their sunglasses inside, so you will instantly stand out. If that isn't the definition of cool - I don't know what is. No, really, if you know what could make us cool, please tell us.
Of course, the number one reason to wear sunglasses is the sun. It's a good idea to have a pair on hand every day - whether you're outside for 10 minutes or 10 hours. Well, unless skin cancer, macular degeneration, cataracts, and other diseases of the eye sound like a good time to you. We certainly don't think they do. That is why Fuse Lenses protects your eyes from 100% of harmful UV rays so that you can live your day eye-worry free. It's okay, you don't have to thank us.
Whether it be for fashion, avoiding people, or just because it’s the right thing to do to protect your eyes - we hope you’ll reach for your sunnies daily! Plus, if you ever need help finding the perfect lenses for your lifestyle, Fuse has your back!
