Start your Prescription Journey

Step 1: Visit Our User-Friendly Website

The first step on your journey to crystal-clear vision in your favorite frames is to head over to our website – www.fuselenses.com. Our website is designed with you in mind, ensuring a user-friendly experience from start to finish.

Step 2: Fill Out The Fuse Prescription Form

Find The Tab

Once you’re in, find the “Prescription” tab on the top banner. Clicking on this tab will take you to our Custom Rx page, where you can get started on your new lenses. We’ll ask about some details of your prescription, your pupillary distance, and some basic info about the glasses you’re buying these lenses for. If you want to be really prepared for this process, you can read the "Learn How It Works" section on the Custom Rx page by clicking the button above the "Tell Us About Your Frames" section. Having trouble finding the tab? Here's a direct link to the page : Custom Prescription Lenses.

Choose Your Lens Type

Once you enter your frame type, we'll ask for your vision type before letting you  choose from our variety of lens types. You can choose between sunglasses, AMP Color Enhancing lenses, photochromic lenses, and your classic clear lenses. Whether you're seeking for a pair of prescription sunglasses, a pop of color to your everyday prescription, the ability to changing light conditions seamlessly, or simply enjoy crisp, clear vision, we've got the perfect lens option to suit your needs.

Pick Your Coating

Next, you’ll choose between our Standard coating, or our anti glare coating for a couple extra bucks. Our standard coating offers scratch resistant, think coating so you can really put them to use. On the other hand, our anti glare coating offers hydrophobic smudge, glare, and scratch resistance.

Choose A Material

Now clicking next will take you to the “material” section, where you can even choose what your lenses are made of. On this slide, you'll choose between Polycarbonate, Trivex, and 1.67 High Index. Polycarbonate is our most popular option, since It's incredibly shatter resistant and lightweight. Trivex is more glass-like but is still extremely durable. However, we don't offer AMP Color Enhancing lenses in Trivex. Finally, 1.67 High Index is best for strong prescriptions, and is up to 30% thinner than polycarbonate.

Enter Your Info

In the next step, you’ll put in some of that basic info we talked about, like your  pupillary distance. Pupillary distance is the distance in millimeters between the centers of each pupil of your eyes. If you're not sure what your pupillary distance is, you can measure it on this slide, at the bottom of the screen where it says "Measure PD Here". You're probably wondering, where do I input my prescription information? After filling out the form and placing the order, you'll be notified to send your prescription by email, so keep it handy for later!

Review Info And Checkout!

Finally, on the last step is where you'll review your lens order. Once you make sure all the information looks right, the only thing left to do is click the "add to cart" button underneath the "add ons" section on the right, and checkout!

Step 3: Email Us Your Prescription

After completing these steps, we’ll send you an email where you can enter your full prescription details. Simply enter the information from your prescription, including your sphere, cylinder, and axis values. If you're unsure where to find this information, don't worry; we have a handy guide to help you decode your prescription.

How To Read Your Prescription

Step 4: Send Us Your Frames

We’ll send you a secure and pre-paid box to package up your frames in. Once you’ve got them in the box, it’s time to send them to us! At Fuse, we’ll custom cut your prescription lenses, and even install the lenses for you. After this process is done, we’ll ship your new glasses right back to you.
