FUSE NEWS

Fuse's Furry Friends

With everything that’s been going on, we’ve been seeing (or hearing) more furry faces than normal on our conference calls. So, we decided to share a little bit about everyone at Fuse and their four-legged friends. While practicing social distancing, a great activity to get you moving is to take your pup (or cat) on a walk and breathe in some fresh air!

Fuse Lenses founder Brandon kneeling in the grass with dog Porter Brandon + Porter

Our co-founder Brandon isn’t actually a huge fan of dogs. But, when Porter came into his life, that changed (just a little bit). Porter is a Pointer, so you can catch him literally pointing at all the lizards in the yard and accompanying Brandon on his 5k runs.

Porter also goes by Porter John or Portie.

Fuse founder Jon with husky dog Brody in front of Florida palms Jon + Brody

I think the entire office remembers when our co-founder Jon brought in his brand new husky puppy. He was just a small little fluff. But, now that Brody weighs 70 lbs instead of 6 lb, he frequents the office a lot less. If only they could stay young forever.

Brody doesn't really have any nicknames. :(

Fuse Lenses employees Rosina and Eric on a long wooden walking bridge with dog Nala.Rosina, Eric + Nala

Rosina, our customer service manager, and husband/lab tech, Eric, took in a little 4-month-old Nala after a neighbor could no longer keep their dogs. She is now well melded into their family of six, as both a great playmate and expert cuddler.

Nala is also known as, "the favorite child."

Fuse Lenses employee Peter with dog Brady Peter + Brady

This rescue story is a bit atypical; Peter, our lab manager, actually traded the owner a gun to rescue his pittie Brady. Although he looks a little fierce, Brady is a loveable, energetic sweetheart that wouldn't hurt a fly (well... maybe a lizard).

Brady also goes by Monster.

Fuse Lenses employees Jessica and Zach kneeling with dogs outdoors at golden hour in a cul-de-sac Jessica, Zach, Jenny + Forrest

Jessica, our communications manager, and Zach, customer service agent, are Fuse’s resident siblings. They also have a pair of dog siblings too! Named after Forrest Gump, Jenny and Forrest are Black Mouth Cur mixes and are always at-the-ready to bark at just about anything they see.

Jenny and Forrest also answer to Bubba, For-For, Jen, and "Stop That!"

Fuse Lenses employee Alanna outside in front of a building on a stone path with cat Oni Alanna + Oni

We think Oni is definitely part-dog. Alanna has Oni trained to sit, lay down, high-five, and even walk on a leash. Just make sure to have those treats ready, or else he might choose not to entertain you.

Oni's other names include Lil' Nugget, Longboi, and Pepperoni.

Customer Service Agent Danielle at home with striped cat Alex Danielle + Alex

Alex the cat made the long drive down from Pennsylvania to Florida, all while sitting in customer service Danielle’s lap. Now that he’s free to roam again, he still chooses to stick close by, always peering into the bathroom at you, trying to lick the faucet water as soon as you start brushing your teeth.

Alex is also known as "Crazy."

Selfie of Fuse employee Gabrielle with dog Kato inside Gabby + Kato

Kato is a goofy, fluffy 1-year-old Samoyed, Keeshond and Chow-Chow mix puppy (Gabby says all dogs are puppies no matter how old they are). After seeing a video of him as the most uncoordinated puppy in his litter, Gabby, our executive assistant, flew to California to adopt him. His hobbies include stealing your spot the second you get up, obtaining belly rubs, sleeping on your head, and running in circles.

Kato also goes by Chicken Nugget, Love Bug, Kato the Potato, and King Kato!

That's all we have on our four-legged Fuse members!

We hope you liked learning a bit more about Fuse's employees and their furry friends. What about you? We would love to hear your pup stories!
