What Are Color Enhancing Lenses?
By now, you've probably heard about Color Enhancing lenses. But what are they really. and why should you get a pair?
2024 is coming to a close pretty quickly, and with 2025 right around the corner, it’s time to take a look back on all we’ve done at Fuse this year. We’re constantly upgrading frames, lenses, and even our website itself, and this year has been a big year for changes. From our new and improved AMP line to our newest fan favorite frame, 2024 was all about taking your suggestions and turning them into high quality products.
2024 has been an exciting year for Fuse Lenses, with lots of new releases, upgrades, and improvements. We’ve worked hard to bring you fresh styles, better performance, and more ways to customize your eyewear. Here's a breakdown of everything we've done this year:
1. Newest Frame Drops
This year, we dropped some exciting new frame styles. From sporty to classic, we introduced fresh designs to give you more variety. Some of the standout frames we launched include:
Merritt- A new and improved spin on our Jupiter frames, with rounded edges and thin arms, this lightweight frame is perfect for everyday use.
Cayo- Our very first half wrap frame, Cayo is the perfect frame for any sporty activity you could think of.
Egmont- Our best selling frame in a new light. This year, we revamped our Egmont frames and gave them multiple sizes, as well as a few other material upgrades.
These frames offer a mix of modern and timeless styles, with focus on both durability and comfort. We made sure each one is designed to fit well and look great, whether you’re hitting the trails or out for a casual day in the sun!
2. Our first line of Premium Acetate Sunglasses
We’re also proud to introduce our new Classics Collection, which brings a fresh take on timeless eyewear styles. The collection features a range of frames that combine classic shapes with modern materials, ensuring that you look stylish and feel comfortable wherever you go. This collection includes:
Amelia- Amelia is a modern take on a classic cat-eye frame shape.
Casey- Casey is the perfect everyday pair of shades. They feature rounded frames and thin, lightweight arms.
Long point- Long Point is a cool twist the classic aviator frames, with a double bridge and a slightly squared shape.
New Jupiter- One of our pre-existing frames got an upgrade! New Jupiter has all the style of the originals while being more durable than ever.
Melody- Melody is our boldest new frame. With a large square eye shape and thin arms these shades add style to every look.
St. George- St George features another classic shape with a modern twist. They're also available in a variety of colors.
3. Tons of Frame Upgrades
We’re always looking for ways to make our frames better, which is why we’ve upgraded the materials in several of our existing frame styles. The new acetate material and snapping hinges make the frames lighter, more durable, and more comfortable to wear. You’ll notice the difference when you slip them on, whether you’re wearing them all day or just out on a small adventure.
4. Our New And Improved AMP Line
Our AMP color enhancing lenses got a major upgrade this year, with four new colors added to the lineup and a whole new branding. These lenses are designed to boost contrast and enhance colors, making them perfect for outdoor activities. The new shades include:
Cascade – A bright orange lens great for overcast conditions, boosting contrast and depth.
Nova – A reddish-purple lens ideal for bright, sunny days, and open fields or roads.
Bronze – A bronze mirrored lens perfect for outdoorsy hobbies, especially hiking or other mountain activities.
G15- A classic gray-green lens. A great versatile all around option, enhances nature and definition.
These new colors expand the options in our AMP line, giving you even more ways to customize your lenses for different environments and activities.
5. Our New Fan Favorite Lens: Shields
One of the most anticipated releases this year was our shield lenses. These lenses offer full coverage with a sleek, single lens design that doesn’t compromise your peripheral vision. Shields are perfect for sports or any activity where you need extra protection and visibility. They’re available in a range of colors and tints, so you can choose the one that works best for your needs. Whether you're cycling, running, or just want a bold look, shields are a cool and trendy lens option that we’re so excited to finally be able to provide.
6. A Brand New Prescription Experience
We upgraded our prescription forum for a brand new, user friendly experience! Now, instead of having to email us all your prescription details, you can easily upload it during purchasing. No more hassle!
As we look to 2025, we’re already working on even more exciting updates. We can’t share all the details just yet, but here’s a quick preview of what you can expect:
