The Best Ways to Spend Your Summer

Summer is here! But how are you supposed to make the most of it? Don’t worry, Fuse is here to share our favorite ways to spend the summer. 

 1. The beach

   

You probably saw this one coming, but a day at the beach is one of our favorite ways to spend a summer day. Just kick back, relax, and throw on a pair of Fuse shades for the perfect beach day. Especially if you live in one of the states that are boiling hot right now, a dip in the water could be the perfect remedy. Either way, all those vitamins from the sun are a plus. 

 

 2. Plan a trip

 

Everybody loves to experience new things, and since summer time means the weather is nice almost everywhere, so why not get out there and enjoy it? A great way to spend your summer is to travel. Maybe a trip to the next town over, or maybe even a trip to a new country, traveling is always a great go-to when you've got nothing on your schedule. Traveling also has been shown to get rid of stress and boost your overall mental wellness. 

 

 3. Go hiking

     

Looking to get outside and try something new this summer? Go on a hike! It’s the perfect mix of exercise and adventure, and it could make for some pretty great pictures. Plus, all of the walking and going up and down hills is great cardio, and can lower your risk of heart disease, stroke, and high cholesterol. It's also easy, and doesn't need too much planning ahead of time. Basically, it's the perfect activity when you're feeling spontaneous this summer.

 

 4.  Adopt an animal

It might sound kind of random, but adopting an animal is a great way to take up some time this summer. June is national adopt a cat month, which is a great excuse to go pick out a furry friend to keep you busy. Even if you'd rather have a fish, or a dog, or a bird, summer is a great time to do it. With more free time, taking care of an animal is a lot easier. Plus, summers perfect weather makes for a great time to adopt an animal since it'll be the perfect temperature for them to run around outside. Regardless, who doesn't love pets?

 

5. Grow a garden 

      

A pack of seeds and some dirt can go a long way. Growing your own food is always a really cool idea when you're looking for something to do. Not only will it kill some time, but you get fresh food out of it! Even if you're not looking to grow any fruits or vegetables, Planting some flowers, or even some trees not only helps the environment but also  just feels great to do.
