Last Minute Group Costume Ideas

We know it feels like just yesterday that you were sipping pina coladas on a sunny beach, but fall is here, and Halloween is quickly approaching.  If there’s anything you can count on this spooky season, it’s a themed party or event. Before you begin to stress and rush to order a costume that you’ll probably never wear again, tap into your creative side with us to see what gems may already be in your closet. With last minute looks this good, no one will ever have to know that you procrastinated.

Top Gun

Let your creativity soar to new heights with this Top Gun costume.

Fly through your Halloween check list with this super sporty Top Gun inspired costume. To get the crew’s casual look, start with a pair of jeans and a white shirt, then add a green bomber jacket. For a look that’s flight ready, grab a green pair of cargo pants and add a green bomber jacket. After adding a brown or black pair of aviators or sporty shades (Egmont shades in brown work perfectly), you’re ready to “cruise” into first place at any costume contest.

Men in Black

With a costume this easy, you're sure to look out of this world.

Your group will be ready to defend the galaxy from space aliens or hit the bar with this Men in Black inspired look. Start by grabbing your favorite pair of black jeans or dress pants, white shirt, and black jacket. Finish the look by accessorizing with a black tie, silver pen, and super dark sunshades (we recommend the Egmont frames with Carbon lenses from our sunglasses collection). With a costume this easy and fun, you’re sure to look out of this world.

Ski Patrol

Your group will be too cool to be forgotten in this ski look.

You’ll be ready to hit the slopes or a costume party in this iced out ski look. For this costume you’ll need to bundle up in a jacket, thick pants, hat, and scarf. To finish this look, grab your favorite oversized mirrored shades in a fun color (like 3 Rooker in Glacier blue).

Minions

No matter if your group is big or small, they're all sure to go bananas for this look.

Is your friend group known for being a little annoying with a big sense of humor? Tap into your inner despicable side with this minion inspired costume. For this look you’ll need a plain yellow t-shirt and denim dungarees. Don’t own overalls? A pair of jeans and suspenders work just as well. Add black Lido frames with blue light lenses, black gloves, and you’re ready to steal the moon… or a few extra pieces of candy.

Woodstock Hippies

You don't need to plan far out, last minute costumes can still be groovy.

If you’re all about peace, love, and being last minute, then you’ll want to start with the easiest costume on our list. To look like you just stepped out of a psychedelic music festival in less than 15 minutes, you’ll want to grab your favorite tie die shirt and loose-fitting jeans. Finish with a flower crown or colorful headband, rounded pair of colorful tinted shades (Jupiter with rose gold lenses look groovy), and you’re ready to leave in your yellow submarine.
