What Are Color Enhancing Lenses?
By now, you've probably heard about Color Enhancing lenses. But what are they really. and why should you get a pair?
An insanely important part of our health is our eyes. Although it is often overlooked, our lives would be so much different with impaired vision. Not to worry though, Fuse wants to share 5 tips and tricks to keep your eyes in their prime.
Everybody has heard the myth that carrots help your eyesight. While this isn’t specifically true, your diet does actually affect your eye health. Eating things like kale, spinach, corn and egg yolks can help improve and sustain good eyesight. Foods like fish, nuts and cheese are also good for your eyesight, because of the protein. Overall, avoiding sugary food is a must for keeping your eyes healthy, and for pretty much any other health problem you have.
Believe it or not, exercise is actually a good way to keep your eyes in shape. There are lots of eye exercises that can be beneficial, along with every day workout routines that just generally decrease your risk of vision loss with old age. Exercises such as running, blinking, and just keeping your body generally active have proven to, in the long run, greatly affect eyesight.
On the more obvious side, wearing sunglasses has a very positive effect on your eyesight. Protecting your eyes from the little things is very important. Things like the sun, dirt, bugs, and basically everything in between are great reasons to invest in a pair of sunglasses. Constant dirt and bacteria getting in your eyes is not only just annoying, but also putting you at risk for blurry vision and more extreme eye problems later in life. Basically, buy yourself some sunglasses.
Pretty much the cure for everything, getting enough sleep is another way you can keep up with your eyesight. When you're sleeping, your body is working to keep everything clean, including your eyes. Sleep protects them from infection and bacteria that could cause real damage to your vision. Plus, who doesn’t like sleeping?
Regular visits to the eye doctor are the most common method to keeping up with your eye health. Despite all these tips and tricks, it’s still important to get regularly checked by a professional eye doctor, just to really make sure nothing is going south.
