The Fuse Crew is finally back on land and back in our home-state after attending EAA’s Airventure Oshkosh 2016 this past weekend. Fuse came to support two of the newest additions to the #FuseAthlete team roster: The Paradigm and Aeroshell Aerobatic teams.
The Paradigm Aerobatic Team, the Oshkosh newbie, was definitely one of the highlights of the show! The team flew in the top pilots from across the globe to debut as the first ever Aerobatic Powered Paragliding team at Oshkosh! In fact, it was the first time ever that any crowd in the States has seen an aerobatic performance by PPG riders – and they pulled off their show without a hitch. The grace shown by the pilots made it look easy (it isn’t). But, if you happened to miss it, don’t worry – not only do these guys have a full documentary coming out on them, but their dynamic performance sealed their place in the show for years to come!
The Aeroshell Aerobatic Team is a world famous formation flying team, and an Oshkosh regular. The classic power of the American made Texas T6 aircrafts was a sight to see. Plus, Aeroshell definitely helped the Fuse Crew end the weekend on the right note – a ride-along in the famous crafts. Our fearless owner, Brandon, even took over the controls for a bit. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience (but hopefully one we can re-live again next year!)
